Our approach to the construction of a 1:100 scale model of the Bordeaux house involved laser cutting all major sections, from out chosen material balsa, to then be sanded back smooth and eventually constructed. The collection of images above displays our current progress following the completion of week one, where we completed all the cutting and most of the assembly. The model still requires the formation of the surrounding site, and some detailed features within the house, such as the stairs, as well as an overall clean-up of the edges etc.
